I’ve been smoking for about a year and a half, and my new year’s resolution is to quit. I smoked my last cigarette today, and I’m so happy.
I had originally planned on using nicotine gum to help me quit, but that process takes up to 12 weeks, and I know I can do better than that. I’ve been reading a lot of self-help books today, and it seems like quitting cold turkey will be much better. Sure, it’ll be hard to completely let go of my nicotine addiction, but I think it’ll be well worth it. My withdrawal symptoms will peak within 3 days, and they will eventually subside within 2 weeks.
I know I’m not on here a ton, and I don’t have a very close relationship with any of my followers, but if anyone could find the time to send me an encouraging message every now and then, even if it’s just in the next 2 weeks, I would really appreciate it!
And if anyone has tried to quit before, successful or not, I think i could probably benefit from some advice.
So what do you say?
